SAVEX company model production has a tradition that spans over a decade. It was founded in 1991 when Mr. Sadlo made his life time hobby also his business.
Production program was a standard technology of those days, balsa sheeted styropor wings and fiberglass fuselages. Company was able to compete with the producers in the rest of the world and product were soon exported to new western markets. Savex models were exported not only to the USA, Japan, United Kingdom but also to Iraq. However...

... it wasn´t that. Models were good, flight envelope and handling reflected the quality of the design and production. However, the founder of the company Mr. Václav Sádlo wasn´t satisfied yet. Vaclav was looking for something different, he believed that his company has capabilities for state of art scale models production. Models that would withstand a critical view of an expert, models with focus on detail.
Hundreds of hours of studying professional literature together with many experiments payed back. In 1996 the Savex started production of all molded composite models. Savex brought their world war II warbirds edition to market. Company left mass production concept behind, shifting from quantity to quality without compromises. In this time also lot of single orders were accepted, company produced all molded speed boat hulls for a short time. Quality problems connected with specialised production and employee migration caused decrease in demand. It was a hard time. Savex changed the structure and in 1996/97 was reorganizated to a family company. First public presentation was taking place at Model Hobby 97 trade fair and it turned out to a success. Great interest of customers and specialised magazines reflected in rapid increase of demand, flooding production with ordes. Savex was back in the business. New technologies and materials were used for the first time in Aero A-102, lovely fighter concept of the late thirties with it's metal panels and fabric coverings. This model is still in production and draws attention on every appearance.

Nowdays, the Savex company is specialized in production of Savex line models for choosen customers. Production quantities are not very high, but the quality is always excellent. We prepare a few new models every year, which are long-awaited. Technology used for production of these flying Rolls-Royces is so far from original process, that we can speak about breakthrough in the moulding technology.
